Mr Luc Woods is a Registered Osteopath and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. After successfully completing five years of osteopathic training Luc was awarded a BSc (Hons) Osteopathy from The College of Osteopaths and Middlesex University in 2010.
Luc is committed to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and regularly undertakes further training to ensure he is always able to offer his patients the very best, evidence-based treatment options. Luc has completed post graduate studies in Cranial Osteopathy, Balanced Ligamentous Tension, Positional Release Technique, Muscle Energy Technique and Advanced Osteopathic Technique. Luc is currently undertaking a 10 year post graduate training program in Traditional Osteopathy.
For several years Luc studied Pilates with Gemma Wright, author of Pilates on the Ball: Training Core Stability for a Healthy Body and Mind. Gemma appeared in the Marks and Spencer Swiss Ball and Pilates books and worked as the Pilates trainer to the Brighton and Hove Albion football team for two seasons. The bodywork exercises Luc learned with Gemma work perfectly with Osteopathy to encourage improved posture and fitness.
Prior to becoming an Osteopath, Luc trained as a Sports Massage Therapist and has worked with a local rugby team.
